Our church building is closed for the time-being but the community of Wakefield Baptist Church is still helping people follow Jesus. You are welcome to stop a while outside the church and take in the prayers and thoughts which will be on display.
Please practice spatial distancing from other people and keep yourself and others free from coronavirus infection.
The coloured ribbons are to help us focus on four different reflections – about the things we love, the world we live in, the sufferings we experience and the reality of heaven. We hope they will bring freedom, joy and peace as you speak to God and as you listen to God speaking to you.
How about using the suggested reflections and tying your own ribbons on a tree at home or on your front door handle as a sign of a prayer, a person or a promise. We’re not able to pray together but we are all heard and known to God, so take heart and join in.
