Café Church: This is an all age informal and fun form of fellowship involving refreshments which many of our youth enjoy coming to. This is the 3rd Sunday of each month. There’s always an element of craft and prayer.

The children and youth Sunday morning groups start are at 10.30am each Sunday except in August when we have a time of ‘Café’ style all age meetings. Bi-Monthly there will be a celebration for all the children and young people together = ‘Make a Joyful Noise‘.
There will also be a family service bi-monthly where the children and youth participate in all age worship.
July / August Some of our Youth go to Hillfields camp annually and some go to ‘Greenbelt’ or ‘One Event’ festivals.
Some of our Youth are also attending ‘Compass Camp’ this year in August. This is a week in the Lake District camping and doing many outward bound type activities such as canoeing and abseiling, but also times of learning, worship and tent prayers. A great opportunity for young people to learn and grow together in an informal atmosphere with leaders who specialise in this age group.
Wakefield Baptist Church takes Safeguarding very seriously and every volunteer working with children, youth and vulnerable adults is DBS checked every 3 years. They also sign an annual waiver and attend safeguarding training every 3 years. Details of the children regarding allergies, illness, contact details etc are kept in a secure place and renewed annually. Policies and procedures are in place and reviewed annually.
If you come along regularly with your little ones/youth you will be required to complete a ‘Parent Consent Form’ with the required information about your child/ren.
