Night Shelter – Volunteers

Looks like the weather is warmer now, so unless it drops suddenly to zero the Night Shelter won’t be open again this season. This is the time we like to recruit more volunteers and get DBS checks, training etc done. If you would like to join our wonderful group of volunteers to help the homeless for the 2019/20 cold season please call – 01924 382966 or e-mail our Night Shelter Coordinator.

What’s new?

WORDS OF HOPE: 10 Years of the Night Shelter & Drop-In.
The Night Shelter and Drop-In at Wakefield Baptist Church have been running for 10 years. To mark this, we will be holding an art exhibition at the end of October 2019.
If you want to contribute a piece of art or help make some art for this exhibition, please contact Eleanor
We are also looking for any spare canvases for painting on. They don’t have to be blank as we can paint over them. Size 60cm x 40cm or smaller.

Check our notices slideshow on the right or on the Notices page.
