MONDAY

Drop In:  1pm to 4pm – the church is open to any vulnerable adult.  We provide a 2 course meal, a shower, washing machine, tumble dryer and a comfortable space to sit, relax and chat with each other.  We can also help with job searches on the computer and we have regular visits from a Council worker who can help and advise with regard to housing needs.  Volunteers are always needed, subject to DBS check.

FARSI Bible Study: 2.30pm to 4.30pm @ WBC.  A chance to study the Bible with fellow Iranians in their home language of Farsi.

TUESDAY

Tuesday Morning Fellowship: 10.15am to 11.45am (TMF Autumn Winter 2017 programme)

Farsi Service: 6.30pm to 9.00pm.  This is open to anyone and is particularly aimed at our Farsi speaking community.  It’s an opportunity to share fellowship, worship together and learn more about a life spent with Jesus at the centre.
WBC Music Group: 6.30pm to 7.30pm.  This group gathers to prepare worship for the following Sunday and to learn new songs to be used in worship.  All musicians and singers are welcome to come along to the practices.  In the meeting room.
WBC Choir: 7.30pm to 8.30pm.  This group gathers because they enjoy singing, a cappella, in harmony.  Anyone who can sing in tune is welcome.  We prepare things to perform at church occasionally, particularly Easter and Christmas, and we also enjoy singing secular songs of all kinds from Disney to 1950s.  In the meeting room.

WEDNESDAY

Early Morning Prayer: 7.30am in the foyer lounge at WBC.  An opportunity to start this day of the week off in a good way committing it to God in a quiet contemplative way with emphasis on what God has to say to us through scripture.
Acorns: 9.30am to 11.30am.  Carer and toddler group including story / song time and refreshments.  £1.50 per adult.

English Classes: 10.30am to 12.30pm.  These classes are open for anyone of any language and are FREE.

Bible Study:  Wednesday at 7pm.  The subject of the Bible study varies depending on who is leading it and what the needs of the church and it’s community are.

THURSDAY

Get Creative: This is a fortnightly group who meet at 7pm at WBC lounge foyer.  It is an opportunity to get to know each other better and use our time doing any type of craft activity you enjoy doing.  Some people knit, crochet, drawer, colour, cross stitch, sew and mend, write.  It’s entirely up to you.  During the 2 hours we may share our concerns, difficulties and prayers with each other understanding confidentiality and knowing that others in the group will pray for you during the 2 weeks to the next meeting.  This group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month.

Film Night: 4th Thursday of every month at 7pm.  Usually it is a family friendly film including refreshments.  Contact the Church office for details of which film is coming up  01924 382966.  Term time only.

FRIDAY

English Classes: 10.30am to 12.30pm.  These classes are open for anyone of any language and are FREE.

SUNDAY

9.30am: Breakfast for all including croissants, filter coffee, various teas.

10.30am: Worship Service including Crèche, Sunday School and Youth group.
6.00pm: Worship Service that varies from week to week as follows:

Week 1: Ecumenical big praise service with guest speaker.  (Ecumenical means anyone is welcome from any Christian church)
Week 2: Craftivism (Gentle activism through craft activities, fellowship and prayer)
Week 3: Café Church including fun, fellowship, crafts, prayer and sharing.
Week 4 and 5: Quiet service reading through a celtic prayer & prayer for our missionaries.

Sunday Morning Services in August

PLEASE NOTE that morning services throughout August will be all age and café style.  This gives the Youth and Sunday School leaders a well earned rest and also introduces a more relaxed style of worship for those who prefer this.
